July 4 Dear Sisters and Borthers:   I have cleared with the Secretary of the Lodge and we casn have our "Friendship Day" the 10 of July at 2:00.  The Masons their wives and children Eastern Stars, family and children are all invited. We will have Ice Cream, Cake, Tea and Lemonade. There will be games for all ages. Sarah Madrid  is the Chairman of the games.    Please all come and have a good time.   Christy Breen Worthy Matron Artesia #18 July 3  Roswell Chapter #10 manned a souvenir photo booth at the UFO Festival in Roswell July 1 - 3.  They handed out one petition, referred a lady to Tularosa Chapter, and met Eastern Star members from different cities. There were also numerous opportunities to answer the question, "What is Eastern Star?".   Although 60 pictures were sold over the three days and the event proved to be a worthwhile money maker, everyone agrees the real profit was in the conversations with all the different people.  AGM Debbie Davis painted the back drop.  We're sure you'll agree, it is very nice.
