Grand Trustee, Chairman Sharron Longshore

Sister Sharron was born in Corpus Christi, Texas. She grew up as a Rainbow girl and then joined Eastern Star in 1964 and has been a member for 46 years. Sister Sharron server as Worthy Matron the first time in Altus, Oklahoma in 1974; she demitted to Tularosa Basin #72 in 1986. Sharron later served as Worthy Matron 1991-92 and 1992-93. She has served in several other stations that has included: Chaplain; Secretary; Ruth; Esther and Warder. She is currently serving as Treasurer. For Grand Chapter Sister Sharron has served as: District Instructor; Grand Representative to South Dakota, and has been District Chairman for many Committees. She is currently serving as a Grand Trustee for Grand Chapter.

Sister Sharron married Joe Longshore in 1961 and has two children and four grandchildren. Sharron loves to do needlework, stained glass, quilting, beadwork and gardening. She is currently Secretary of the local Master Gardener’s Association.
